Birthday gift: Make your friend a list of things you love about them

I've made lists of "40 things I love about you" for a bunch of people when they turned 40. I like to put each item on a strip of paper and put each paper in a jar. Watching the person take out each piece of paper and read it is so much fun. Most of the people I've done this for have said it's the best gift they've ever gotten.
